Nicole Kidman is opening up in July's Vogue about expecting her first child with husband Keith Urban.

After suffering two miscarriages with ex Tom Cruise, the 40-year-old actress (who is due in July) said she cried when she saw the ultrasound.

"I didn't think I'd get to experience that in my lifetime," she admits. "I like the unpredictable nature of it. To feel life growing with you is something very, very special, and I'm going to embrace that completely."

Kidman — who has two adopted children, Connor, 13, and Isabella, 15, from her marriage to Cruise — also sounded off on:

Being happy and pregnant:
"My sister has had four kids, and she says that when you're pregnant you draw people to you who are genuinely happy. She's right. It taps into that thing in human nature that is universal and collective and beautiful."

Life in Tennessee:
"I've been in Tennessee, just sitting. We have a farm there, and I have an organic vegetable garden. This is a path I'd not taken before. My mum's always gardened. My sister gardens. And I've now conformed to the Kidman women's hobby of gardening. And it is just a hobby. I'm not feeding the troops. There's a softness to the Tennessee landscape that I just love. It's very beautiful out there. We have deer and wild turkeys."

Keith Urban's battle with addiction:
"I'm so committed to this relationship, and so is he. I don't have addiction problems, but love is a very powerful force in my life. It's my fatal flaw and my virtue."

New appreciation of life:
"You can fight life. You can wriggle and squirm and say, 'This isn't right.' But I'm glad I've learned to let things flow. I'm now so much more capable of receiving love and giving it in a far different way. So to be given the blessing of a child at this stage of my life, you just say, 'Wow, this was meant to be.' "

Shania Twain will grace the cover of People magazine for the first time since June 1999, but it’s not because of her music or stunning good looks.

According to gactv.com Twain is on the cover with the headline reading, “Shania Betrayed.”

The story alleges that Twain’s assistant Marie-Anne Thiebaud had an affair with her estranged husband Robert John “Mutt” Lange.

The magazine claims to have the first interview with Thiebaud in which she says the affair never occurred, “You cannot believe everything you read in the press.”

Shania is said to be with family in Canada. People will hit newsstands this Friday.

A surprising new study of 1014 brand-name sunscreens has discovered that few of them offer effective protection. According to the Environmental Working Group, only 15% of sunscreens tested were found to block UVA and UVB radiation, maintain their effectiveness in sunlight and contain a minimal number of potentially hazardous ingredients. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration still has not approved advanced sunscreen technology and ingredients—already in use in Europe—that are said to work better. “The sunscreens available in the U.S. provide excellent protection,” says Beth Lange, senior director of research and development at Coppertone. But she adds, “There are 16 UV filters approved for American sunscreens. In Europe, there are 28 filters OK’d for use. However, officials in Europe and elsewhere in the world have a less-complex regulatory process than the FDA does.”
